Department of Management & Diplomacy

The Department of Administration & Diplomacy has been established in 1391 with the establishment of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at Bost University;  trains students in the field of administration and diplomacy, mostly administrative and political subjects are taught in this department.

Apart from theoretical and practical learning, short-term professional courses, workshops, scientific seminars and conferences are organized in various areas of capacity building for current and graduating students, as well as practical and theoretical activities. From time to time scientific, practical and capacity building programs such as (diplomatic talks) are carried out regularly.

Administration and diplomacy forms such a framework for the development of society that it is related to all aspects of life, develops the mind and touches on practical skills.

If someone wants to gain expertise in the field of law and political science (administration and diplomacy), then studying law and political science up to the bachelor’s level is the first and basic step for him.

The education of law and political science has a fundamental role for other fields, such as domestic politics, foreign politics, political negotiations, political representation, economy, trade, human resources, local government bodies and general institutions, all from law. And it originates from political science.

The Department of Administration and Diplomacy is trying to help the youth who want to study in the administrative and political fields with high quality and easy standard of education so that those youth can reach their goals by taking advantage of these facilities. To become a servant for his country and people.

Teaching System, Teachers & Staff

The entire teaching process and program of this department is according to the credit system (basic, specialized, optional and university subjects) which are 2 semesters per year according to the curriculum, each semester is 16 weeks without exams, one teaching The hour is taught for 50 minutes, the total number of credits for this period is at least 158, each semester does not exceed 21 credits, and also in this department, the department manager, the teaching manager, and the teachers who are at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate levels. It carries out the administrative and teaching work of the said department.

In general, the curriculum of the faculty of law and political science, and especially the curriculum of the department of administration, compared with other curriculum at the country level, and consists of all the subjects that are required in the current era of law and Political Science at the undergraduate level.

The Administration and Diplomacy program of the Law Faculty at Bost University was created for the purpose of training experts and professional staff. Based on this, the Administration and Diplomacy program graduate is considered as the person who has completed at least (158) credits in a four-year academic period (8 semesters) full-time and have the following conditions in terms of knowledge, skills and attitude:

Knowledge

Graduates should master administrative, political, negotiation, diplomatic, and consular skills at the bachelors level, and have practical and scientific skills in order to serve the society as an expert.

Ability

A graduate of the program is a person who is familiar with political, diplomatic, administrative, consular and negotiation topics to the required level and is able to solve the problems of his field.

Behavior

The graduate respects the applicable laws of the country, academic ethics, learn high Islamic, humane and moral values, commit to all these values and be free of any kind of prejudice and discrimination.
